Fall is one of the most stunning times to visit the Adirondacks. The warm days and cool nights, the dazzling foliage, the quiet towns without the hustle and bustle of summer. Its the perfect time for a weekend getaway. The weather this time of year is perfect for hiking, whitewater rafting, and attending one of our many events taking place throughout September and October!
Here is a quick rundown of just a few of the events taking place in each of our regions:

Hoss's Country Corner
This event is a fundraiser to collect money for breast cancer patients and families. Come out and enjoy live music, food, crafts and more, all for a good cause!
Harvest Craft Fair
October 12th
Long Lake Town Hall
Vendors will be on hand selling hand crafted goods. Stop by and peruse the different booths. Its a great way to get started on your Holiday shopping!
Speculator
Applefest
September 28th
Speculator Pavilion
Enjoy all things apple at the annual Applefest with the Historical Society of Lake Pleasant and Speculator. Shop with local vendors and watch live apple pressing demonstrations
Oaktoberfest
October 6th
Oak Mountain
This festival is fun for everyone! Live music, a German buffet, craft vendors and more will be on hand. There is also be a costume contest, so don't forget your lederhosen!
Inlet
Fall Festival
September 21-22
Fern Park
This two day craft fair boasts over 50 vendors selling goods ranging from candles and jewelry to rustic furniture. There will be live music both days, food, and activities for kids.
Adirondack Kids Day
October 5th
Arrowhead Park
This event is specifically for the kids! Activities will include:
- French Louie Fishing Derby
- Face painting
- Horseback riding
- Geocaching 101
- Children's Author & Illustrator Book Fair
- And so much more!
Bring the kids down for a full day of fun!
Indian Lake
Adirondack Mountains Antiques Show
September 11-15th
All through Indian Lake and Blue Mountain Lake
You can find vendors at the Adirondack Experience Museum on Blue Mountain Lake as well as up and down the main drag in Indian Lake. Indian Lake Central school will also be home to vendors selling antiques.
Great Adirondack Moose Festival
September 28-29th
Indian Lake
Take part in the 10th Annual Moose Festival! There will be plenty of events going on throughout Indian Lake all weekend. Try your hand at Moose calling, join in on a guided excursion, and keep your eyes peeled for the ever elusive creature!
