Hemlock Hall is a historic lakefront lodge and family resort on the beautiful north shore of Blue Mountain Lake, in the heart of the Adirondack Park. It is one of a few historic camps from the Gilded Age, reminiscent of a Great Camp, that continues to welcome guests year after year. Nestled in the mountains of upstate New York, on the beautiful north shore of Blue Mountain Lake, Hemlock Hall provides an escape from the bustle of everyday life. Step back into simpler times, unwind, and reconnect with nature and family and friends at a historic Adirondack resort.
The main lodge (est. 1898) houses 8 guest rooms, two common sitting rooms, an original fireplace, the main dining area and an expansive wraparound porch. Throughout the 8-acre property there are 4 “motel” units and 10 cabins, ranging in size from 1 – 3 bedrooms. Hemlock Hall is situated on 500 feet of waterfront with a large beach and swimming area, a fishing dock and a collection of boats (kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, SUPs, row boats) for guests’ enjoyment.
At Hemlock Hall we operate on a Modified American Plan, which includes a hearty Adirondack breakfast and a traditional, homestyle dinner. Planning on a hike or paddle? Bagged lunches are available for a nominal fee, and throughout the day snacks and refreshments are available in the Main Lodge. We also take outside guests for breakfast and dinner, just be sure to call ahead to confirm availability.
