Key takeaways
There are two trails that lead to primitive campsites, and the shores of Woods Lake, both of which diverge near the trailhead. The leftmost trail, with red trailmarkers, leads 0.25 miles to the lake. The rightmost trail, the Northville-Placid Trail, reached primitive campsites and near the shoreline of Woods Lake after roughly 0.35 miles, at which point it continues around the east side of the lake.
