The non-profit Friends of Moody Pond (FMP) says thank you to members of the community for their ongoing support of their efforts to eliminate the aquatic invasive Eurasian water milfoil from Moody Pond!

Everyone is invited to come to the 5th Annual Ice Cream Social on Moody Pond at 331 Forest Hill Ave, from 4p-7p.

There will be live music, ice cream, and it's FREE!

As a thank you to the community for their support in preserving and protecting the pond, this event is entirely free and family friendly.

Just over five years ago, after discovering invasive Eurasian water milfoil in Moody Pond, the non-profit Friends of Moody Pond (FMP) was formed. Thanks to donations, grants, and community participation in our fundraising events, FMP has been able to hire professional divers to hand-harvest and remove more than 1000 pounds of Eurasian water milfoil from the pond.
