Noelle Short is an English teacher, writer, photographer, and avid fan of any kind of adventure. She grew up in Tupper Lake, and after earning her BA at Hamilton College and her MA in English at Middlebury College’s Bread Loaf School of English, she made her way back to the Adirondacks to live, work, and play. She enjoys spending her workdays with creative, talented, and awesome students at Long Lake Central School, and loves to spend her free time hiking, paddling, skiing, traveling, and taking photos and notes along the way. She’s also a big fan of her chocolate lab, Gilly, who is an excellent travel buddy and has a PhD in the game of fetch.
