Leave Your Mark on Inlet
Paver Program
Inlet has been making many improvements to the parks. These improvements include new pathways from the parking lot leading towards the boardwalk and beach in Arrowhead Park.
You can be a part of the improvements to Arrowhead Park by purchasing an engraved brick paver to be installed in the park’s pathways. *New - Pavers will be installed once a year. Order cutoff date is Labor Day. Any paver ordered prior to Labor Day will be installed around Columbus Day. Example: Pavers ordered up until September 2, 2024 will be installed some time around October 7, 2024. Pavers ordered from September 3, 2024 and up until September 1, 2025 will be installed some time around October 13, 2025.

Veteran's Paver Inscription Program
In 2016, with help from a grant and some local contributions, the American Legion Post #1402 was able to construct a gazebo, add flag poles and do some landscaping around the existing memorial in front of Inlet Town Hall. This area is now known as Legion Square. The Legion also started a program to inscribe the pavers around the gazebo with names of veterans. You can honor a veteran by purchasing a paver to be engraved and installed at Legion Square.

Bench Program - As of March 27, 2019 we will no longer be taking orders for benches.
Inlet is known for its small-town atmosphere and friendly nature. To make browsing downtown's shops more enjoyable, the Economic Development Committee of the Inlet Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc. came up with an idea in the spring of 2000 to place more benches around the community. The town of Inlet continues this effort. The benches are an Adirondack-style bench. They can be seen at ACE Hardware. To donate a bench to the town, fill out the form below and return it to the Information Office. Donations of $175 will include a bench, plaque, and staining of the bench.
The Information Office will work in conjunction with the town of Inlet and area businesses to determine the locations for the benches. Your input will be taken into consideration. The town will then take responsibility of storing the bench in the winter and bringing it back out before summer begins. The Parks Department will do their best maintaining the bench and plaque; however, you may be contacted if the bench or plaque needs to be replaced.
