Summer, fall, winter, and spring!
Inlet — known as "the little town that could" since setting a Guinness World Record for creating a 3,150 boat floating raft — holds a myriad of events of every variety. Craft shows are held in summer and fall; spring finds the town hosting a popular bike race that attracts nearly 1,000 cyclists; late fall (Thanksgiving to be specific) brings Christmas on Main Street, with the town decked out for the holiday season and activities and bargains galore; and winter means a very competitive pond hockey tournament with teams from all over the east. On that note, beginning the winter is the New York Shootout, where all major manufacturers race to prove their sled is the fastest. The social event of the season is summer's symphonic concert which is held under the tent and its accompanying cocktail party. These and many more crowd pleasers are on Inlet's annual calendar.
