Awarded Trip Advisor's Certificate in 2015, the Red Dog has been an Adirondack tradition since 1982. We are passionate about the food we serve. Originally built in 1926, the Red Dog is great for grabbing a quick bite or a relaxing meal in a unique and truly comfortable Adirondack atmosphere. This is a place where the locals meet, the soup is homemade, the bartender remembers you, and you're bound to have a good time.

The Red Dog has been famous for years for our mouthwatering BBQ ribs and pulled pork, cooked low and slow the way it should be. We also have awesome salads, overstuffed quesadillas, Roman candles, delicious nachoes, and crispy wings — our legendary Armageddon Sauce has acquired wide public attention from hot wing fans for the ultimate in heat and flavor! We've also gained notoriety for many of our house favorites, including fresh haddock Fridays, thick cuts of prime rib, Alfredo, locally farm-raised and grass-fed black Angus beef burgers (no hormones, no antibiotics), and grilled salmon. We can't list the whole menu here — we have to leave some surprises. Be assured there's something on the menu or specials board for everyone. Kids too!
