The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts is committed to bringing a world of arts to the Central Adirondacks all year long.  The ALCA is the only cultural institution of its kind in Hamilton County that is open all four seasons.

This attraction offers an historical perspective on the Adirondack Mountains.  The museum offers workshops on logging, boats, outdoor recreation, mining, craftsmanship and fine arts.  Historic structures range from a log hotel to a one room school house.  Visitors can walk through the landscaped grounds, tour a beautiful garden, and take in the view of the surrounding area

More than 50 years of bringing the arts to the Central Adirondack.  Presenting year-round exhibits, workshops and performances for all ages.  Host of the prestigious Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors.  Call or log on for events and information.

Great Camp Sagamore – National Historic Landmark

10 miles north of Inlet on Route 28, then 3.5 miles south on Sagamore Road in Raquette Lake
For more than 50 years, Sagamore served as the summer retreat of the Alfred G. Vanderbilt family.  Today Sagamore, the only Great Camp operating as a non-profit organization, is open to the public for tours and has accommodations for outdoor, craft and heritage residential programs.  Summer tours are at 10:00 am and 1:30 pm.  Reservations for tours are recommended.

The Goodsell Museum features six rooms of continually changing exhibits, artifacts, photographs and memorabilia.  Genealogical research material is available.
Open Tuesday-Saturday with no admission.
